Zaña, considered by UNESCO “Site of memory and slavery of the African cultural heritage” record of this we have the Afro-Peruvian Museum, Zaña had a great economic heyday, city of 14 churches including the San Agustín convent that with its imposing archery gives us a sample of Catholic opulence and grandeur, having Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo as an ally for Catholic conversion, Zaña being his last resting place.

Monsefu

Continuing with the tour we will visit Monsefu, land of Mochicas, which awaits us to introduce us to its beautiful Señor de Cautivo church and its traditional artisan walk.
